Final Merit list of Assistant Teacher under SSA Assam has been declared on 21 January 2017. To download the list of your district, follow the guidelines below.

SSA Assam District Level Selection Process:

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Assam prepares the merit list of selected candidates after the process of documents verification.


All the candidates who have cleared the checking are now waiting for the result.

All those testimonials you had submitted during processing of application form had been verified by the official /authority/ District Level Selection Committee.

The procedure of selection of teachers for TET qualified candidates will be as per Government rules.

1. The officials will see your Marks obtained by you in TET/CTET,
2. your academic qualification,
3. any professional qualification and excellence at NCC ( B or C certificate),
4. Excellency in State level sports,
5. moreover, cultural activities will be taken into consideration for preparing the district wise selection list.

After checking the originality of the following documents, you will be declared passed/failed as per your merit and official rules. merit

1. Pass certificate, Marks-sheet, admit card of 10th class
2. Pass certificate, Marks-sheet, admit card of 12th class
3. Pass certificate, Marks-sheet, admit card of Graduation and Post-Graduation 
4. Pass Certificate and Mark sheet of Professional Qualification like D. El Ed, B.Ed. etc. 
5. Caste Certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC)
6. Community Certificate (ExS/ Sports)
7. Pass certificate, Marks-sheet of CTET / TET Certificate
8. Experience Certificate

1. Online application submission process started on: 05th October 2016 
2. Closing of online application submission process: 25th October 2016 
3. District Level Verification Schedule: 01st November 2016 to 20th November 2016
4. Result: January 21, 2017.
5. Next Process: Appointment / Joining
6. Appointment Date: will be announced by the Honorable education minister of Assam, Sri Himonto Biswa Sharma after the final result
