Vacancy for Non Executive Posts at IOCL(AOD)

Indian Oil has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling various vacant posts in Digboi Refinery. These posts are entitled for Indian citizens only.

Details of jobs, eligibility criteria, application process are described below.

#1 Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Production) 

• Pay: Rs.11,900/- to Rs.32,000/-
• Discipline: Chemical  
• No of posts: 09 for SC- 1, ST- 1, OBC- 2, UR-5
• Educational Qualification: Three Years full time regular / Sandwich Diploma in Chemical / Refinery & Petrochemical Engineering or B.Sc. (Math, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry).

#2 Junior Engineering Assistant – IV (Electrical) 

• Pay: Rs.11,900/- to Rs.32,000/-
• Discipline: Electrical  
• No of posts: 04 for ST- 1, UR-3
• Educational Qualification: Three years full time regular / Sandwich Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

#3 Junior Quality Control Analyst – IV 

• Pay: Rs.11,900/- to Rs.32,000/-
• Discipline: Quality control  
• No of posts: 02 for OBC-1, UR-1
• Educational Qualification: Three years full time B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Maths or M.Sc. (Chemistry-Regular Course). The cut off marks for M.Sc (Chemistry) candidates shall be minimum of 45% merits in aggregate for General and OBC candidates and 40% in case of SC/ST and PWD candidates against reserved positions).

Age Limit:

• Maximum 26 years as on 01/10/2016 
• 5 years relaxable for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC Candidates.
• Age relaxation for PWD candidates is 10 years for UR candidates and 15 years for SC/ST candidates and 13 years for OBC candidates.

Selection Process: 

Selection process for IOCL posts will be of two steps.

There will be a written test for 03 hours. A candidate must qualify in the written test for attend the second step of selection process. Qualifying marks for written test is 40% for UR and OBC candidates. SC/ST/OBC candidates will get a 5% relaxation in this test.

 After qualifying in the written test you have to qualify in Skill/ Proficiency/ Physical Test. These tests will be conducted at Digboi, Assam.
